Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience host 6th Thanksgiving Service

The Department of Anatomy & Neuroscience held its sixth Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday 10th March 2026.  A very special event in the calendar of the College of Medicine & Health at UCC, the multi denominational Thanksgiving Service once again brought together families of donors, staff and students of Anatomy, in a musical and reading celebration.

Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience awarded Prestigious Disciplinary Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Assessment DELTA Award.

University College Cork is celebrating the success of the Anatomy and Neuroscience teaching team. Led by Dr Mutahira Lone, the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience have been awarded the Higher Education Authority's prestigious Disciplinary Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Assessment DELTA Award. This award marks a significant milestone for the Department and reaffirms its ongoing commitment to excellence in teaching and learning at UCC.
